While all of our American friends are out celebrating Memorial Day, we thought it would be fun to have one of our international designers, Laurel Seabrook, step in with a fun project showing how easy it is to take a patriotic line like Americana and change it up!
Since I am a Canadian, I thought I would repurpose the Americana collection. I created three different cards with three different looks and occasions.
The colors and prints make me think of a farm and so I came up with this western themed encouragement card.
Along the same lines, the red gingham makes me think of Barbeques so I decided to create a barbeque themed card that can be used as an invite.
Finally, I love the blue gingham. It’s softness reminded me of baby prints so I created this clean and simple baby boy themed card.
I love being able to stretch my themed collections into other projects and I think the Americana worked well for this!

Fabulous projects, Laurel! I really like how unique each project is. Fabulous ways to show off the versatility of the line!
These are seriously brilliant ideas for this adorable paper line! Love them!
